Dental Veneers
Veneers are a minimally invasive cosmetic dental treatment used to improve the overall aesthetics of your smile. They are ideal if you want a straighter, whiter, gap-free smile.
There are two types of dental veneers, porcelain and composite, each with pros and cons.
Porcelain veneers are long-lasting teeth hand-crafted to look natural by our technicians. These are usually fitted over 2-3 separate appointments and require removing a small amount of enamel from your existing teeth.
Composite Veneers
Composite veneers can be “fitted” in one appointment. Layers of composite material are artistically applied and sculpted around your existing teeth by our dentists to achieve each tooth’s perfect colour, shape and texture. Composite veneers are usually fitted in one appointment instead of 2-3; they are cheaper but not as durable as porcelain veneers. The main benefit of composite veneers is that your natural tooth enamel is not removed.
