Your feedback

Complaints procedure.

If something has gone wrong, please tell us. We would rather know, and we will deal with it promptly and fairly.

How do I make a complaint?

Tell us in person, by phone or by email, and ask for the Complaints Manager, who is Dr Irshad Baurhoo.

Most problems can be sorted out quickly, often at the time, with the person involved. If that does not work, contact the practice on 020 8542 3711 or info@hillcrossdental.co.uk. You can ask for an appointment to talk it through. The more specific you are, the more we can help.

Please raise your complaint within 12 months of the incident that caused the problem.

What will you do when I complain?

We will acknowledge your complaint, look into what happened, and offer you an explanation or a meeting.

  • Find out what happened and what went wrong
  • Let you discuss the problem with the people involved, if you would like that
  • Give you an apology where one is due
  • Work out what we can do to stop it happening again

If we need to, we may share information about you and your treatment with our insurers, indemnifiers or legal advisers. See our privacy notice.

Can I complain on behalf of someone else?

Yes, but we need to know you have their permission, because we keep strictly to clinical confidentiality.

A signed note from the person concerned is usually needed. If they cannot give permission because of physical or mental illness, tell us and we will explain what we need.

What if I am not happy with the outcome?

You can take your complaint to an independent body, and this does not affect your right to complain to us first.

You can read about the practice and the team on our about page and our team page.
